| 3/24/09 - Each character has gone through a major makeover. Expect the character developments to be deeper and for the storylines to be more intense.

| 3/24/09 - In the original version of Flames of Ice, Captain Fuego develops the ability to fly. In this new version, expect Fuego to develop a different (but hopefully much cooler) power instead.
- The Brotherhood of Saints has also gone through an extreme makeover. What is the group about? Are they friend or foe? You'll have to read this new version to find out. Let's just say it's a huge upgrade over the original version in every way.

| 3/24/09 - Sources confirm Havocton as one of the major villains of the story. Havocton was one of the first characters created by Dan in 8th Grade. Since then, Havocton went through a major makeover and became the villain for Part 3 of the DareDan trilogy. Havocton has gone through another major makeover. While Dan wanted to maintain the elements that have made Havocton a truly scary character, he also wanted to add another dimension to his character. I won't say what it is, but it makes him the perfect foil for Captain Fuego.
- Expect a very different ending from the original version of Showdown. It is connected to the reason why Havocton has been brought into this story, and it opens the doors for a sequel trilogy.

| 3/24/09 - Sources have confirmed that a second Captain Fuego trilogy is in the works. Expect new characters (those familiar with Dan's previous writings may recognize some of them) and new storylines.
3/35/09 - Rumors are floating around about the possibility of one of Dan's lesser used alter egos, Ace Reporter, making his debut in this story. Ace has been known in xanga as a loud-mouth, maniac, sometimes controversial reporter trying to offer "the latest and the greatest" in news. Since moving to facebook, Ace has toned down his obnoxious attitude and focused on interviews.

| 3/24/09 - Tagline: "Even heroes need help." Two words: Women Power.
3/25/09 - While details of the storyline haven't been revealed yet, there is a twist that answers some of the loose ends left by Showdown.
